Surf Board Models
the Macro Fish
The macro fish is designed to be a short board replacement and should be ridden 2-4” shorter than your everyday shorty… The secret to this board is the wider Nose(averages 13”) and Tail(averages 15.5”).. Typically the macro fish isn’t designed to be much wider than your everyday short board, which is why this board is more a small wave performer than a small wave groveler..The Macro Fish features a nose to tail single concave, round forward rails and a distinctly flatter deck…While lighter surfers obviously will have an easier time generating speed on the macro in slow conditions, heavier surfers should look to the Mod Retro or Pickle model
for getting speed out of slow mushy conditions..or bulk up the Macro in width and thickness…

the Mod Retro
The Modern retro is probably one of the best boards for ripping small waves apart… Originally designed as a straight twin fin(MR twin in FCS, or the TF1 in Futures), Our current offering in the Mod Retro is with a Tri fin, featuring a smaller 3.5”- 4.25” tall center fin used for faster conditions, or more top to bottom surfing in general… This board features a single concave thru a vee off the tail and soft, forgiving forward rails… Most would agree, this board is an eye opener, not only for it’s ability to maneuver fast and loose in small slow waves but also in the way it’s forward width and extra foam allows the surfer, no matter what their ability or raw strength, to catch everything you paddle for… Surprising enough a little “Mod Retro” will pack alot into it’s small but stout stature… The Mod Retro is ment to be ridden 4-8” shorter than the surfer physical height, but can also be configured longer and thicker according to the surfers ability’s and paddle requirements, ie rippers are gonna wanna ride this board as short as possible and novice or surfers requiring more foam can and should get some…
