the Macro Fish

// March 26th, 2011 // No Comments » // news

The macro fish is designed to be a short board replacement and should be ridden 2-4” shorter than your everyday shorty… The secret to this board is the wider Nose(averages 13”) and Tail(averages 15.5”).. Typically the macro fish isn’t designed to be much wider than your everyday short board, which is why this board is more a small wave performer than a small wave groveler.. lighter surfers obviously will have an easier time generating speed on the macro in slow conditions… heavier surfers should look to the Mod Retro or Pickle model for getting speed out of slow mushy conditions..or bulk up the macro in width and thickness…

Sizing examples…  5′4”x 18.25”wide x 2”thick… for surfers up to 130#’s

5′8”x 18.6” wide x 2.1”thick… for surfers up to 170#’s

6′0”x 19.25”wide x 2.25″thick… for surfers up to 190#’s
