The Macro fish is and isn’t a fish.. It’s a tri fin design, with a swallow tail, but it definitely lacks the extreme, floaty bulk and width of traditional small wave boards, and is intended to be ridden 2”- 4” shorter than your regular shorty… ie, a surfer who rides a 6′2”x18 1/2”x2 1/4”, could potentially go 5′8”x18 3/4”x2 1/4”, the bigger deviation from the norm comes from nose and tail dimensions which are a bit more fuller… Simply put the macro was designed as a small, to whatever, wave skateboard… and the end result has been pretty sweet to say the least…On an end note, bigger/ heavier surfers should order them in accord to their weight, ect… which in the end will produce an extremely capable crossover design for all.
