Hawaii 5-0

November 15th, 2007 by bat

batSo hawaii has been really fun so far this year. I was able to get a solid shop order for Aloha Board Shop, in town and have been surfing some super fun waves. Last monday me and my host Brian Gold surfed a secrete spot 4-5 ft. (like 2x overhead ) for 3 hours, no wind and only one other guy out, so yes it is possible to score empty waves here, still… weird though…

marcher @ rockiesAny how, Today, me and my teamer from FL., Christian Marcher, surfed some Rocky Rights. Scored some super fun 3-4′ and everybody out, but still super fun.

Christian has moved here for the season, living at Sunset point, he’s got a towny job and a little UH hottie to keep him distracted from the surf. I told him to have fun and bail out before summer, although with his towny job he would kill it in the summer, anyhow he’s even in a band ,, GO Boy!!

hawaiin lineupBack on the update, I will be working at The Factory (check out there site Hawaiisurffactory.com ) with Otis Schaper, Amp, Pinder, Paloma and the rest of the crew the next couple of days shaping customs for good ole’ Jeremy Saukel, Marcher, Josh Murphy and of course the stocks for Aloha Board Shop. Keep an eye out for the footage from Logs , yesterday and today…. it got sik!!! Big barrels last night with 6′+ sets feathering on the outside reef…. some crazy Aussie got worked, today was bombing and our very own Coreman Lopez got the Bomb Wave, while Shea got bounced and worked his knee, ouch…. go IRB!!

aloha for now , bat
